Another year is almost behind us. I’d like to wish you all happy holidays and thank you for continued support of our Chapter. Before the end of the year, I wanted to update you on a couple of topics:
Chapter Update – The Chapter just finished up the Fall Semester, initiating 11 members. Going into the Spring they will have 39 live-ins with 15+ live outs. Be on the lookout for information regarding activities and other Alumni/Active events.
Gamma Scholars Program – This month we will award three $700 scholarships in honor of the Stephen Deftos, Jeff Chang and Chris Schad Memorial Scholarship. These scholarships are made possible by the alumni donations to our Chapter Investment Fund at the Pi Kappa Phi Foundation. As of today, we have approx. $38K in donations that allows us to disburse $1,500+/year towards the Gamma Scholarships. As in year’s past, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the Foundation on behalf of Gamma Chapter. Any donation made before 12/31 will be matched by a generous alum. To donate:
1. Contact Carrie Clifford at the Foundation at 980-318-5367. You can make a donation via credit card.
2. Mail a check (made out to Pi Kappa Phi Foundation with a reference to Gamma CIF in memo line) to Pi Kappa Phi Foundation, Attn: Carrie Clifford, PO Box 240526, Charlotte, NC, 28224
3. You can also go to the Pi Kappa Phi website and go to the donation page. It will state it’s for the Leadership Fund. You can put in the Comments section that you’d like to direct to Pi Kappa Phi Foundation – Gamma Chapter CIF. Here is the direct link.
