Football Tailgate Sponsorships
As you know, every home football game we host a Chapter/Alumni Pre-Game Tailgate at the Chapter House starting a couple of hours before game time. Alumni Tailgate sponsorships are encouraged to offset the cost of the the event. In exchange for the $100 donation the Chapter will hold a free parking space for you the day of the game. We would like to recognize Chris Curtis, Greg Rising, John Doylemason and Glenn Izmirian who joined Juan Serrano in sponsoring the Colorado vs Cal game on 9/27. Here is the updated list of folks that have signed up and opportunities to host.

Chapter/Alumni Event to Benefit BORP – Adaptive Sports & Recreation on 10/18 UCLA vs Cal Game
Our Chapter’s philanthropy event for the semester will be Disability Awareness Day at the UCLA vs Cal game on 10/18. The Chapter will be working in conjunction with Cal Athletics and the Bay Area Outreach Program (BORP) to sell tickets to the game, with a part of the ticket proceeds going to our Fraternity’s Philanthropy, The Ability Experience (formerly PUSH America). The tickets are being sold at $35/ea (face value is $55/ea) and will also include a free t-shirt.

If you are mailing a check please email us so we can be on the lookout for it. Tickets will be held at the house and given to you when you arrive.
Please try to sign up as soon as possible so we can get an accurate count for the t-shirts. Purchase deadline is Friday, Oct 17 at noon PST for tickets.
Note – The Pre-Game Tailgate will be catered to alumni/family. In addition, any alumni who purchases tickets through the Chapter will be given half off parking at the Chapter House. The game is the day after the Deftos/Chang/Schad Activity. We really hope that we can get a lot of alumni and family members supporting the event. It will be a great opportunity to raise awareness for people with disabilities, highlight our Chapter’s efforts on campus and to come together as a lifelong Brotherhood. Deftos/Chang/Schad Memorial Pledge Activity on Friday, 10/17 at 8 pm at Deftos Tree
As mentioned previously, the Chapter will be hosting the Deftos/Chang/Schad Memorial Pledge Activity on Friday, 10/17 at 8 pm. Plan is to meet pre-event at Free House on Bancroft and College Avenue starting 6:30 pm. If you plan to join please email us.

Gamma Chapter has a LinkedIn group with over 143 members. It is overseen by Alex Glew and is restricted to actives or alums of Gamma Chapter. It’s a great way for alumni and actives to connect for potential career advancement and connections. You can find the LinkedIn group by searching for Pi Kappa Phi Gamma Chapter.

Thanks to the handful of you that provided me lost brother updates from the last update. We would love to get updated email contact info to keep anyone still lost connected. Please email us any email contact updates you may have or if you feel uncomfortable providing, please pass along our contact info so they can email us directly if they want to stay in contact with Gamma Chapter.
