Mission: We Will Lead.
For over a century, the brothers of Pi Kappa Phi have been building better men on college campuses across the nation. From our humble roots at the College of Charleston in South Carolina to over 130 campuses today including UC Berkeley, Pi Kappa Phi stands for a commitment to fundamental values.
We are a first CLASS fraternity who firmly believes in the tenets of Character, Leadership, Academics, Sportsmanship, and Service. These ideals are not only valued but instilled through leading-edge educational, service, and leadership opportunities including national level internships.
Our strengths include our brotherhood and diversity; Our members come from a variety of different backgrounds, have a variety of interests, and are involved in many different activities on campus including Cal athletics, band, and various on-campus clubs. We have a very active alumni group which participates in chapter events and also provide members with many opportunities and connections for the future. We have the second-largest house on campus, which includes newly remodeled rooms and a basement with a jacuzzi. Besides date parties and sorority exchanges, our chapter holds bonding activities such as weekend getaways in Tahoe or trips to LA for football games. The driving motivation for Pi Kappa Phi is to create life-long friendship for the future.
Pi Kapp is the only fraternity to own and operate its own national philanthropy, Push America. It remains the exclusive service learning project of the Fraternity, with the purpose of instilling lifelong service in our members and serving people with disabilities. Pi Kappa Phi members have raised nearly $8 million dollars as well as donated thousands of man hours to renovate facilities that serve people with disabilities across the country. Expanding the education and values of America’s finest men, we will lead.
