Fall Chapter Update
This Fall we will have 30+ live-in brothers for the 1st time since re-colonization. Rush is planned for w/o 8/20 and 8/27. Chapter Members would love alumni to drop by this Fall.
Rush Retreat – Sunday, 8/19 in Los Altos, CA
David Gray has graciously volunteered to host this Fall’s Chapter Rush Retreat on Sunday, 8/19 from 1 – 5 pm. So far we have 4 alumni volunteers (David, Ryan Panos, Zach Brown and I) that will be attending the Rush Retreat to help out. We are looking for Alumni Volunteers to come meet/work with the Chapter and other Alumni. Donations are also welcome to defray the cost of the Rush Retreat. PUSH America Fundraising Event (Kap Slap) – Sat, 8/25 @ 7:30 pm @ Pauley Pavilion
The Chapter has embarked on an ambitious Philanthropy Project during the middle of rush to host one of the biggest Philanthropy Events in the History of Cal. They will be hosting a concert headlined by a famous DJ named Kap Slap. The concert will also feature local campus acts. Their goal is to sell out Pauley Pavilion (1,000 attendees) with Cal only students to raise money and awareness for PUSH America (Pi Kappa Phi’s Philanthropy). All profits will go to PUSH America. Football Tailgate Sponsorship Updates
Fall will bring back our Cal Football team to campus where they will be playing in a renovated Memorial Stadium. The Chapter is excited to be hosting pre-game tailgates as in past years. Pre-Game tailgates are made possible by Alumni Sponsorships and parking proceeds. Alumni Football Tailgate Sponsors receive a free parking space in exchange for a $100 donation. So far we have the following sponsors:

9/29 vs ASU – All spots are open
10/6 vs UCLA – All spots are open

Alumni Bago (LA to Cal) for Oregon Game (11/9-11/11)
Every year for over 20 years a group of Gamma Alumni have made a pilgrimage up to the Bay Area in a Winnebago led the Winton Family/Friends. This year the Bago will be coming up for the Oregon game on 11/10. The Bago is scheduled to come up Friday, 11/9 at noon and will return to LA on Sunday, 11/11 in the evening. Bago departure and return is from Burbank. Frank Winton would like to invite other alumni to join us as we make this epic pilgrimage. If you are interested please email drfrizank@hotmail.com.
